Any time I hear "why can't they be more like," I just want to see more non-passable drag queens with little drag queens on their shoulders Ala The Road Warrior , holding day-glow dildos aloft and pelting them on the spectators. Or some such thing. I like to think of Pride as an opportunity to shock the masses with the extremes of queer society, deflating expectations and increasing our naysayers tolerance the way water boarding increases the cleanliness of ones face.
